Wonders of the World

As a developer, I had to go through the application and find and fix bugs. I documented all the bugs I found and how I replicated them both on the Oculus and GearVR platforms. I optimized the game for the release of patch 1.0.12 using Unreal Engine 4 optimization tools to do GPU and CPU profiling and find bottlenecks in the code that slowed down the game. I also went through players' reviews to help me with the creation of my task and feature list for the upcoming patch.
 

I then worked closely with the rest of the team to deploy patch 1.0.12 onto the store to ten thousand unique monthly active users. Multiple testing iterations and strong communication skills were required to successfully deploy the project.

Learned Skills

  - Learned how to use CPU and GPU profiling tools and understand how optimization works in a VR game

  - Deployed an update to the Oculus Go and GearVR platforms, making sure that the game did not break with any platform and that the experience was smooth for players both in-game and while downloading the update
