Block Arena is an Indie game I have developed to test out different ways of designing difficulties. The design aimed to create more connected difficulty levels that make a smooth progression. The encounter has a boss who has four skills and the players, depending on the difficulty, have different skills and mechanics available to them.

It started out as an experiment, I often believed that boss fights do not challenge players in different skillsets (reflexes, strategy, correct use of skills), but often just add random skills to the boss' arsenal. The goal of the game is to defeat the boss while surviving the progressively more difficult encounter. 

Features

- Defeat the Boss and survive the encounter!
   The player has to defeat the boss while using strategy and reflexes to   

   survive a progressively more challenging encounter!

- Play Co-op with your friends!
   Group up with a buddy to take on the challenges of the multiplayer

   mode! Or train on the single-player option!
- Face the challenges of the hardcore mode!
   With three available difficulty levels in the multiplayer mode, you and

   your buddy can perfect your strategy to take on the hardest mode of all!

  - Reuse as much code as possible to finish before 

     deadline
